相比2021-2022的附加文书，今年附加文书题目发生了一些改变：1、简答题最后一题换了新的题目。2、必答文书第一道题目发生了改变，第二道题目融合了去年的题目。

耶鲁大学的补充文书题目分为简答题和必答文书两部分。Short Answer Questions是耶鲁大学文书的重要组成部分，因为简短，所以各位同学必须直奔主题，言简意赅，突出最生动的故事。
必答文书题目会根据申请人选择的申请平台而略有不同。
简答题
提交Coalition Application，Common Application或QuestBridge Application 的申请人需要回答以下简答题。
QuestBridge申请人将通过耶鲁大学QuestBridge问卷完成以下简答题，在收到申请后，耶鲁大学录取状况门户网站上可以找到这些问题。
题目1：Students at Yale have time to explore their academic interests before committing to one or more major fields of study. Many students either modify their original academic direction or change their minds entirely. As of this moment, what academic areas seem to fit your interests or goals most comfortably? Please indicate up to three from the list provided.
译文：耶鲁大学的学生在致力于一个或多个主要学术领域之前，有足够的时间探索他们的学术兴趣。许多学生要么修改他们原来的学术方向，要么完全改变。到目前为止，哪些学术领域最适合您的兴趣或目标？请从提供的列表中指出，最多三个。
题目2：Tell us about a topic or idea that excites you and is related to one or more academic areas you selected above. Why are you drawn to it? (200 words or fewer)

以上这三个问题可以简单概括为“Why You”“Why Major”“Why School”。
回答这些问题的时候一个基本的原则是：保持真诚。如果你已经知道自己的方向，就认认真真的说出来TA吸引你的原因，并与大学特色结合起来，写出学校是如何满足你的学术好奇心，为什么你会选择耶鲁而不是其他学校。
当然，因为有字数的限制，往往无需特别详细的展开到细枝末节都不放过，简练地、全面地概括表达清楚，也是很考验学生英语能力的。
选择Coalition Application或Common Application申请系统的学生还需要回答下面这些简答题（200字符，约35个单词以内）。
题目1：What inspires you?
译文：是什么在启发你？（人、事情…）
题目2：Yale’s residential colleges regularly host conversations with guests representing a wide range of experiences and accomplishments. What person, past or present, would you invite to speak? What would you ask them to discuss?
译文：耶鲁大学住宿学院定期邀请拥有丰富经历和成就的嘉宾进行讲座。你会邀请什么人发言？这个人可以是已经逝去的也可是健在的，你会问他/她什么问题?
题目3：You are teaching a new Yale course. What is it called?

文书提交Coalition Application或Common Application的申请人需要回答以下问题之一，字数不超过400字。
题目1. Yale carries out its mission “through the free exchange of ideas in an ethical, interdependent, and diverse community.” Reflect on a time when you exchanged ideas about an important issue with someone holding an opposing view. How did the experience lead you either to change your opinion or to sharpen your reasons for holding onto it?
