由于国际生参加校园面试或是校友面试有非常大的局限，所以越来越多的大学开始接受第三方机构面试。
如果学生的英语能力，尤其口语能力突出，并且申请的大学把这样的第三方面试机构作为唯一面试途径，那么建议学生一定不要错过这个机会。
2. 选择面试方式：Global interview 是网络视频面试；In-Person Interview 为现场当面面试。这两种的流程和效果完全一样，学生可以根据自己的情况选择。
InitialView 的面试更多像是普通随意的聊天，而不是非常严肃的招聘面试。因为面试的问题真的非常个性化，建议是好好把自己的 CV、写的 essay、推荐信里面的段子背熟，随手可以用。
面试官一般会根据对话内容来即兴提问，如果对你的回答感兴趣，会跟着追问 1-2 个问题，但绝对不会多，会立刻回到一个新的话题上。一些重点的方面通常都会覆盖，比如个人的自我介绍，兴趣爱好，课外活动的细节，对自己未来的目标，为什么想去美国等等。
另外，InitialView 经常问一些学生就某些当前热点问题的看法进行讨论。去年招生官就问到了学生对于 Trump 当选的看法，态度；双 11淘宝节学生买了什么，看法。话题的转换可能会有一些快，以及提问语速可能也有一点快，需要大家高度集中精神。
整个流程体会下来还是以聊天的形式为主，所以一定不要紧张，如果说错或者磕巴了还是要保持笑容，对于缓解紧张真的很有帮助。

Compare your online classes to your in-person classes in college. How are the teachers different? Do you prefer online learning or classroom learning?

How did you perform as a team member? What feedback from the project did you get from your professors?
What made you want to change your major from physics to computer science? What’s one problem that you had to solve and learn from?
